Our studio is a working space shaped by art, design, music and the things we live with.
We believe our surroundings change the way we pay attention — and the way we make.

Led by artists

Tufting Berlin is run by artists Sungeun Claire Choi and Wonek Lee.
With backgrounds in photography and media installation, we approach tufting as a medium — not simply a craft.
Our workshops invite you into that way of working: with attention, material and time.

From idea to your own rug.

  • 01 — Send your design

    Follow our design guidelines and send us your image before the workshop.

  • 02 — We prepare it

    We transfer your design onto the fabric before you arrive.

  • 03 — Learn & tuft

    At the studio, we show you the technique and you create your rug yourself.

  • 04 — We finish

    After the workshop, we complete the backing and finishing for you.
