A private studio experience for teams, friends and special occasions. Spend a few hours away from the usual routine, work with your hands and make something of your own together in our artist-run studio near Senefelder Platz.
Choose your format.
Choose a compact creative session or spend the full three hours developing your own rug. Both formats are private and guided by us throughout the session.
2 hours
- Create a small rug with a simple design.
- Design templates can be provided upon request.
- You draw your design on the day of the workshop.
- Materials, backing and finishing are included.
- Your rug is usually ready in approximately 2 weeks.
3 hours
- Create your own individual rug.
- Send us your design before the workshop.
- We prepare the drawing on the fabric in advance.
- Materials, backing and finishing are included.
- Your rug is usually ready in approximately 2–3 weeks.
Make something together, while making something of your own.
Everyone works on an individual piece, but the experience is shared. We guide your group through the process and give everyone enough time to focus on their own work.
It works equally well for colleagues, friends, birthdays, celebrations and other private groups.
03 · Our studio
The room is part of the experience.
Tufting Berlin is an artist-run working studio in Prenzlauer Berg. Art, design, music, materials and works in progress are part of the room.
We believe our surroundings change the way we pay attention — and the way we make.
A few hours away from the usual routine.
No previous experience is required. We introduce the tools and technique at the beginning, then everyone works at their own pace with our guidance.

Booking
Full payment is required in advance to confirm your private session.
Timing
Private group sessions are available on weekdays. Starting times are flexible.
Finishing
We complete the backing and finishing after the workshop.
Safety
As we work with tufting machines, alcohol is not permitted during the session.
We offer adapted formats and special conditions for educational groups, including schools, universities, kindergartens and teaching teams. Please contact us directly for details.
