Tufting Workstation Rental (For experienced tufters only)

For experienced tufters only!

Already made your own rug and looking to create a larger one? Or need more space for tufting? At Tufting Berlin, you can rent a workstation and a tufting machine for €15 per hour. Enjoy the freedom to work independently and create your special piece from start to finish!

Rental is intended for participants who are confident in setting up and operating a tufting machine independently. Please note that no instruction or technical support is included in the rental.

You can create a rug up to 130 × 180 cm and visit on weekdays between 9 AM and 7 PM. Weekend sessions are available upon request, subject to availability.

Materials are not included — you’ll need to bring your own, including monk's cloth, yarn, glue for backing, and backing cloth. However, we provide tools for the backing and finishing process.

Please note:

• We speak both German and English.
• Private liability insurance (Privathaftpflichtversicherung) is required.
• The project must be completed within 6 weeks. We cannot guarantee storage beyond this period.
• Each workstation is designated for one person only.
• Participants are responsible for any damage caused by improper handling of equipment.
• Workstations must be left clean after use.
• We reserve the right to stop a session if safety guidelines are not followed.
